Charter Sales Specialist

We operate over 150 dedicated cargo aircraft, including the Saab 340B, Embraer 120, Fairchild SA227, Beechcraft 1900, and Beechcraft 99 from bases across the U.S. Ameriflight, the nation's largest Part 135 airline is seeking a Charter Sales Specialist for our growing charter division.
Reporting to the Director of Aircraft Charter :
- Monitor air charter requests and work with customers on aircraft availability
- Price and sell aircraft for air charter
- Coordinate on-demand flights with customers and company to ensure safe and efficient service
- Plan and execute a charter trip that includes handling, hotel, fuel requirements or any international requirements
- Works closely with Flight and Maintenance Departments
Duties and responsibilities include :
Interacts with customers to coordinate the transport high priority work with critical delivery cut-off timesCoordinates with flight crew members to make critical go / no-go flight release decisions to ensure safe and efficient flight operationsPrepares effective and timely contingency plans to recover from services disruptions due to weather, ATC, mechanical issues, etcCollect and input flight dataBenefits

The ideal candidate has a strong aviation background with a general understanding of aviation weather, flight planning and FAR91 or FAR135 regulationsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
