Inspiration Home Health is looking for a Part-time RN for 1 weekend a month Davis / Weber County for scheduled visits. Inspiration is a fast growing home health and hospice agency offering a great work atmosphere!

Responsibilities :

  • In home skilled nursing visits, initial and ongoing assessments
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records and plan of care
  • Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their family members
  • Communicate effectively to interdisciplinary team members
  • Observes / ensures compliance with Medicare and State guidelines

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in Home Health and Hospice preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, families, and facilities
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability : M-F 8am-5pm
  • Please be aware that each visit is $50. If an admission is completed it will be $100.

    • Job Type : Part-time

    Pay : $50.00 per hour

    Experience :

  • Nursing : 1 year (Preferred)

    • License / Certification :

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • RN (Preferred)

    • Work Location : In person

    Requirements :

    Physical Requirements :

  • Requires considerable physical effort most of the day including kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, climbing, walking, exposure to temperature and humidity changes and maximal assist in lifting and / or transferring of a 100 pound patient. Must possess sight / hearing senses or use appropriate adaptive devices that will enable senses to function at a level required to meet the essential duties of the position. Must provide evidence of annual TB test and other state-required tests or examinations.

    • Mental Requirements :

  • Must be able to work independently, make judgments based on assessments and data available and act accordingly. Must be flexible, innovative and possess good interpersonal skills. Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress and demonstrate emotional stability.
  • Working Conditions : Be able to tolerate exposure to elements including, but not limited to, odors, blood, body fluids and excrements, adverse environmental conditions and hazardous materials.

    • Transportation :

  • Must have a current valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance and reliable transportation.

    • Other :

  • Must pass a drug test and background check
