Senior Engineering Manager – Mobile Residential App

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

Qcells is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the development of our next-generation Mobile Residential Applications , a critical tool for residential solar homeowners and system installers. This role will drive the architecture, execution, and team culture behind a mobile-first residential mobile product suite that enables seamless on-site commissioning of solar systems as well as homeowner experiences.

You will lead a team of iOS and Android engineers, collaborating closely with engineers in Korea and India, and work closely with product, design, and hardware teams to deliver a robust, scalable, and intuitive mobile experience. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in mobile architecture, shared component systems, and IoT-connected device workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership & Strategy

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for residential mobile applications, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Build screens to deliver consistent UX across platforms.
• Ensure seamless integration with Qcells’ EMS firmware and cloud backend.
• Champion best practices in mobile development, including CI / CD, observability, and performance profiling.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide.
