Medical Assistant Position

Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is currently hiring Medical Assistants in Webster, TX. This is an on-site opportunity. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration :

Pay : $22 to $24.34 / hr

Type : Two Month contract with possibility of an extension and / or becoming fulltime

Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday (8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM)

Primary Responsibilities :

• Review doctor's schedule, prepare charts, and request relevant information needed for each patient visit.
• Prepare and submit patient documents for scanning; monitor assigned in-baskets for overdue results and letters.
• Schedule appointments, assist with specialty referrals and radiology testing, and provide pre-printed patient education materials as directed by the provider.
• Follow HIPAA policies and ensure proper disposal of confidential information daily.
• Monitor and complete tasks associated with physician orders.
• Room patients upon arrival, obtain demographics, medical history, and chief complaint; verify allergies and record vital signs per policy.
• Reconcile medication lists and update preferred pharmacies at each visit.
• Document patient education, learning preferences, language needs, and interpreter requirements.
