Summit Skilled Solutions (S3) is a rapidly expanding skilled trades staffing firm connecting commercial and industrial contractors, manufacturers, and major accounts with reliable, experienced tradespeople nationwide. As part of our growth strategy, were seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive market expansion and build lasting client partnerships.

Your Impact

In this role, youll :

  • Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers across construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
  • Focus on traveling contractors, shutdown crews, and project-based organizations needing skilled labor support.
  • Drive business growth through new account acquisition and expansion of existing partnerships.
  • Conduct client workforce assessments and recommend tailored staffing solutions (temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct placement).
  • Use the Counselor Sales Process (CSP) to close Client Service Agreements (CSA) and maintain profitable, long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with operations to ensure smooth project fulfillment and excellent client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the main point of contact throughout the sales and delivery cycle.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales, profitability, and CSA targets.

What Youll Bring

  • High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelors preferred.
  • 3+ years of B2B or consultative sales experienceconstruction, industrial, or staffing industry background ideal.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and growing key accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience handling long-term partnerships and complex service agreements.
  • Ability to manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through closing and retention.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach and a drive to succeed.

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
  • First-year earnings : $50,000$70,000+
