Tax Verification Specialist

The main role of the Verification Associate position involves verifying data captured by Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software from standard financial and tax documents. Key responsibilities include performing quality control on the data, communicating any issues with the data and software, and organizing documents according to tax software rules and requirements. The position requires adherence to quality control standards, elevating issues to team leaders, participating in daily meetings, and following all specialty rules and policies.

• Meet daily production deadlines
• Acquire / use knowledge of tax documents to fulfill the 1040SCANverify verification requirements
• Present learning material and train temporary contractors
• Communicate with various teams both onshore and offshore
• Report any technical issues or errors to respective team Create training material

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.

For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $38,850 - $72,150.

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
