Our client, a leading distributor of K-14 classroom and educational furniture, is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Representative for its "Westchester County" territory, which includes Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, and Dutchess Counties.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture sales, a deep understanding of the K-12 market, and a proven ability to build relationships with school district architects, designers, construction managers, and procurement professionals.
- In addition to developing relationships with school administrators and decision-makers within the district (facility managers, purchasing agents, and superintendents), you would also be expected to continue cultivating new business within the territory.
- The full sales cycle will be followed, from prospecting and presentations to closing and ensuring successful project implementation.
- All employees are expected to stay current on products and market trends while collaborating with the internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Requirements :
8+ years strong outside sales experience selling a non-commodity product.Sales experience within the K-12 / higher education, luxury / high-end furniture, custom architectural furniture, Institutional Furniture, or similar industry.Strong presentation skills.Project Management experience.CRM experience.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
