Position Overview :

  • PRN Speech Language Pathologist in Harlan, Iowa
  • SNF / ALF environment with a cross section of geriatric diagnoses
  • CCCs preferred

  • 1 hour from Omaha, NE and 1.5 hours from Des Moines, IA

Speech-Language Pathologist Job Responsibilities :

  • Assess and treat patients
  • Complete documentation
  • Plan, market and develop new programs
  • Communicate with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff
  • Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
  • Assist in the general operation of the department

    • Speech Language Pathologist Job Requirements :

  • Master's degree (M. A. or M. S.) in Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or be eligible for such.
