Kong is looking for a Global Facilities Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the operations, maintenance, and strategic management of all company facilities globally. This role ensures that our global workplaces are safe, efficient, compliant, and aligned with the company’s growth and culture. Kong’s Global Facilities Manager will lead facilities planning, vendor management, space optimization, and environmental health and safety initiatives across multiple regions. This role will manage all Office Managers and requires close collaboration with Real Estate, HR, IT, and Finance, as well as leadership of regional facilities teams and external service providers.
Facilities Operations & Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of all global offices, ensuring smooth functioning of facilities services, including maintenance, cleaning, food & beverage, and security.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring high service quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with standards.
Establish and enforce global workplace policies and procedures to ensure consistency across regions.
Space Planning & Real Estate Support
Partner with the Real Estate team to support site selection, lease negotiations, renewals, and exits.
Maintain, manage, and monitor badging and access into office sites.
Lead space planning efforts to accommodate headcount growth, hybrid work models, and evolving business needs.
Oversee design, construction, and renovation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with company brand and culture.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure all facilities comply with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to proactively identify and resolve workplace safety issues.
Implement global ESG and sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and green workplace practices.
Employee Experience & Workplace Programs
Deliver a safe, engaging, and productive workplace experience that fosters collaboration and employee well-being.
Partner with HR and IT to support onboarding / offboarding, access management, and office events.
Continuously evaluate and enhance workplace services based on employee feedback.
Leadership & Financial Management
Build and lead a global team of facilities and workplace professionals.
Manage global facilities budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and cost optimization.
Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership on facilities performance and strategic planning.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in facilities management, corporate real estate, or workplace operations, with at least 3 years in a global leadership role.
Proven track record in managing multi-site operations across different geographies.
Strong vendor management, negotiation, and contract management experience.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance regulations.
Experience leading workplace design, construction, or expansion projects.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or facilities certifications (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) preferred.
