Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical / Telemetry (MST) Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. The primary assignment will be in ED Holds (Emergency Department patient holds), with floating required between multiple campuses as needed. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless transitions and support across campuses.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).

Minimum of 2 years of recent MST nursing experience required.

Must possess a valid New Jersey (NJ) or Compact RN license at the time of application submission.

Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications required.

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, medication administration, and electronic health records. Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability skills essential for floating between campuses.

Annual flu vaccine is mandatory (no declinations accepted).

Work Environment and Schedule

Full-time position requiring every other weekend and every other holiday.

Float Pool role with primary assignment in ED Holds; floating between RMC and Hopewell campuses as operational needs dictate.

Involves standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling; ability to work in a dynamic, high-acuity setting.
