What we want you to do :

• Substitute in infant / toddler or preschool classrooms as needed in a professional manner by actively participating as a teacher in classrooms as assigned
• Relieve teachers for breaks, lunches, trainings, meetings, planning / coaching, and other absences and to maintain ratios
• Provide support to classroom teachers in execution of classroom duties and student engagement
• Assist in the supervision of 8-16 students with the classroom which may include some students with disabilities and or behavioral difficulties
• Follow the Conscious Discipline model for effective teaching and learning
• Effectively implement Educare's core features within the classroom
• Strongly adhere to the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct
• Provide routine care for students such as changing diapers or assisting with toileting
• Participate in the serving and clean-up of meals and snacks
• Eat meals and snacks together "family style" with the students
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the quality of Clayton Educare education programs
