TECHNICIAN - GROUNDS

SUMMARY

Responsible for keeping the property properly maintained in a neat, clean, and safe manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Upkeep of the property – Raking of straw / manure, power washing, mowing / weeding, picking up trash / debris, and general maintenance activities
• Operate company vehicles / equipment including skid steer, trucks, and various maintenance equipment
• General Maintenance knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and powered equipment
• Planting & maintaining flowers, plants, and trees
• Snow and ice removal
• Maintain property signs and fences
• Maintain mowing and landscaping vehicles / equipment
• Assist other Team Members with duties.
• All other duties as assigned.

REPORTING LINE

You will report directly to the Trackside Facilities Manager then to the Director of Maintenance.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATIONAL AND / OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

REASONING ABILITY

The ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke / secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
