Non-ExemptWhat You’ll Tackle
Repair and maintain facility infrastructure and production equipment—minor to major tasks (complex work under guidance of skilled technicians).Execute preventive maintenance on schedule : inspect belts, fluids, filters; grease bearings / seals; repair or replace worn components.Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair pneumatic systems.Install and repair electrical services and wiring for remodels; fix control circuits, switches, and refrigeration equipment.Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and boom lifts safely while performing repairs.Complete building upkeep : windows, doors / locks, closets, blinds, plaster / drywall, and painting.Use computer interfaces to control and monitor mechanical and utility systems.Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests.Maintain daily / weekly / monthly checklists and accurate PM records.Must-Have Background
High school diploma or GED; or one year of related experience / training.Minimum one year of forklift operation.Experience in building / mechanical equipment maintenance and repair—or equivalent education / experience mix.Skilled with hand and power tools.Core Capabilities
Baseline proficiency in welding, plumbing, electrical, control circuits, PLCs, pneumatics, software, hydraulics, carpentry, motors, pumps, and utility equipment operation / repair.Detail orientation; clear communication and reliable follow-through.Read / understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in small groups and one-on-one.Math : whole numbers, fractions, decimals; calculate rate / ratio / percent; interpret miscellaneous drawings and schematics.Knowledge of production facility operations.Well organized; able to multitask and count accurately.Good judgment, problem solving, and practical, common-sense thinking.Comfort working in varied temperatures; basic knowledge of GMPs and HACCP.Willing to work early hours with overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed (not guaranteed).Bilingual Spanish / English preferred; must be able to read and write English.Computer proficiency preferred for maintenance roles.Physical Requirements
Standing / Walking frequently; 8–12 hours per shift.No sitting required.Lift / Carry frequently 1–100 lbs; some tasks may exceed 100 lbs with both arms.Push / Pull frequently; up to 100 lbs.Frequent bending with attention to body mechanics.Frequent kneeling / crouching / crawling.Frequent reaching / handling of varied box sizes and materials.Occasional climbing into / out of trucks, racks, and pallets.Frequent operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.Work Setting
