Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

A manufacturing leader in Benson, NC is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to own and drive end-to-end supply chain strategy, execution, and operational excellence across manufacturing and distribution. This role will oversee procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and systems implementation while leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost performance. The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver who excels in change management, process optimization, and cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead full-scope supply chain operations, including procurement, demand planning, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS), establishing scalable controls and workflows.
• Drive warehouse modernization efforts, including layout strategy, inventory workflows, and process improvements for both roll and case goods.
• Improve inventory performance by optimizing turns, forecasting, and stocking strategy while reducing carrying costs.
• Manage the flow of raw materials and finished goods to ensure on-time, accurate order fulfillment.
• Partner with IT, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to support an ERP transition from JD Edwards to SAP, ensuring supply chain alignment and adoption.
• Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers, freight partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop, monitor, and continuously improve KPIs, including on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory performance, and warehouse efficiency.
• Coach, mentor, and scale a high-performing supply chain team focused on ownership, process discipline, and operational excellence.
