Level A or B Automotive Technician

JV Auto Service is hiring a full-time Level A or B Automotive Technician in Wilmington, DE, a full-time, onsite position paying $60,000 - $90,000 annually (base plus performance-based pay), with benefits including :

You will join a family-owned and operated NAPA Auto Care Gold shop in the same location since 1967, where superior customer service is our trademark, and employee parts purchasing and use of the shop to perform service on employee only vehicles are available.

WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE

As a Level A or B Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating vehicles based on customer concerns and complaints, proceeding to diagnose and repair a full range of complex electrical, mechanical, and computer issues, including critical systems like MIL, ABS, SRS, Traction Control, and HVAC. Additionally, you will perform necessary maintenance and repair work on the engine, cooling system, steering, suspension, and brake systems. You will also diagnose and fix customer convenience items such as power windows, door locks, and radios. To accomplish these tasks effectively, you will utilize service information databases and sophisticated computerized diagnostic tools, ensuring that you communicate clearly with the service team and customers about the required work, technical findings, and project timelines.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A LEVEL A OR B AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN?

This is a full-time auto service role, scheduled 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday .
