CMM Programmer, Aerospace & Defense Industry

The CMM Programmer is responsible for performing inspections and supporting data analysis. Effectively documents and communicates results in a timely fashion to maintain uninterrupted movement within the Manufacturing process. Individual shall also work closely with Quality Assurance, CNC Programmers, Design Engineering, MFG Production & Braze / Special Process to ensure that all inspections are thoroughly completed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Strives towards a culture of proactive safety.
• Create CMM programs with PC-DMIS software (From Solidworks models, drawings & applicable documents)
• Create Absolute Arm programs
• Document measurements required for First Article Inspections / AS9102
• Updating & Managing Microsoft Excel databases
• Mechanical, Visual & Final Inspections
• Recommend new metrology based technologies towards improving our overall capabilities
• Complete quality related and continuous improvement project work
• Participate in investigations of root cause and corrective actions / implement preventative actions
• Other duties as assigned.
