As part of our Internal Float Pool, you will rotate among ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, gaining diverse clinical experiences with each shift.

Join our Internal Float Pool and make a significant impact every day. You will be responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care to ensure safe and therapeutic outcomes, fostering collaborative relationships with patients and their families.
Utilize your expertise in the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate effectiveness. You will actively engage with the healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of patient-centered care while adapting rapidly to changes in patient conditions.
Your role will involve implementing safety strategies, facilitating educational opportunities for patients and families, and coordinating discharge planning with an interdisciplinary approach. Monitor patient outcomes rigorously and take action to enhance quality and safety continuously.
Licenses & Certifications :
Must possess a Registered Nurse license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Degrees :
Completion of an accredited nursing program required.
Required Functional Experience :
Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Demonstrates the ability to provide holistic patient care, adapt to situational changes, and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Exhibit strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a team-oriented mindset to enhance the patient care experience.
Certification Addendum :
Team members are expected to maintain annual educational certifications required for various hospital-related credentials.
