Operations Tech

Summary

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Technician performs a variety of routine to skilled general maintenance duties in the repair, alteration and modification of buildings, equipment and facilities. All full-time Operations Technicians with a minimum of 2 years full-time day shift experience at DMC / DBHC will be required to take call as assigned and in accordance with Facilities Services “Procedure for Standby and On-call Response.

JOB TYPE :   Per Diem

Minimum Education :   High School graduate preferred.

Minimum Experience / Skills :   5 years experience required

License / Certificates / Credentials :   Valid California Drivers License.

Physical Demands :

• Frequent sitting, standing / walking
• Lift / position up to 100 lbs. Push / pull up to 100 lbs of force.
• Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
• Manual dexterity and mobility
• Touch, auditory and visual perception and acuity
• Adequate vocal pitch and volume
• Ability to move quickly

Vision Requirements :   Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less, adjust vision to bring objects into focus and to distinguish different colors
