As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Merchandise Assistant to join our team in Lynbrook, NY.

About the Role :

As the Merchandise Assistant , you will play a crucial role in supporting our buying team. This person would be assisting our small but mighty team with all things related to buying, merchandising, inventory management, retail operations, cross-functional communication and data entry to name a few.

Key Responsibilities :

• Data entry : Upload purchase orders into our system, along with all other buying related tasks.
• Accounts Payable : Manage our cash flow in regard to paying our third party vendors, in tandem with our CFO, to ensure all vendors are paid on time and invoices are closed out with all goods are accounted for.
• Inventory Management : Oversee damaged inventory process. Work closely with store teams on any one-off needs for inventory management and maintenance.
• Retail Operations : Assisting in our EOM inventory by door, ensuring all stock within each location is accounted for and reconciling it. Oversee on order process, following up on monthly POs for tracking and ensuring all goods are in house by PO cancel dates.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with store teams, warehouse operations, and the creative / marketing department to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Assortment Management : Maintaining the assortment visual guides for each buying department. Presenting to the marketing / creating team each departments buys, making product knowledge guides for both them and store teams, acting as the point person for all things product.
