American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) with at least 6 months of experience, ARRT(R), BLS, and New Mexico licensure for a weekday day shift role with on-call responsibilities.

Position is in an Interventional Radiology unitDay shift, 4x10 hour schedule, 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM, Monday to FridayWeekend and after-hours on-call required, with call rotated among technologistsProcedures performed include adrenal and mesenteric angiography, aortography, chemoembolization, embolizations, stent placements, vertebroplasty, TIPS, central line and port placements, dialysis graft interventions, and moreHybrid OR and PACS system utilized in daily workNo floating required outside of Interventional RadiologyNo local candidates within a 75-mile radiusTechnologists rotate in call coverage on weeknights and weekendsPersonal transportation is requiredP / F testing required prior to startCompliance steps must be completed promptly after offer, including a drug screen within 30 days before startReturn travelers must have a 12-month gap from previous employment before being eligibleApproved block scheduling is availableRequested time off over 7 days requires approvalHoliday time off requests limited to one holiday bundle per assignmentFacility is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke CenterScrubs / dress code not specified\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 6 months Interventional Radiology Tech experience requiredActive ARRT(R), BLS, and New Mexico license required (license can be pending at time of consideration)Strong proficiency with a range of IR procedures including angiography, embolization, and central line placementExperience maintaining equipment, sterile technique, and working with PACSCOVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with provider documentationValid driver’s license required; if unavailable, a written transportation plan is neededRQI certifications are not acceptedFirst-time travelers are not accepted\n Benefits\n
