Location : 10500 Heritage, Suite 102, San Antonio, TX 78216.
Position : Full-time Legal Accounting Specialist.
Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM.

We are honored to have been named a Top Workplace in 2024 and 2025 by the San Antonio Express-News and are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our award-winning team.

Key Responsibilities :

Review and finalize personal injury settlements, including verification of settlement breakdowns.

Prepare and issue payments to clients, vendors, and medical providers.

Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.

Assist with other accounting or administrative tasks as needed.

Work closely with attorneys and legal teams to ensure settlement accounting is completed accurately and timely.

Process accounts payable and receivable.

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Perform data entry, scanning, filing, and updating data using spreadsheets and accounting software.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role within a law firm or legal setting is preferred.

Proficiency in QuickBooks required.

Experience with personal injury settlements and related disbursements preferred.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
