CVICU Travel Registered Nurse - $2,102 per week

A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 12.5-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No call requirements
• Must float to other units as needed per hospital floating policy
• Required to badge in / out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch break
• Clock-in time must be between 6 : 38-6 : 45 AM / PM (after 6 : 45 is considered tardy)
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
• Must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz catheters and arterial lines
• Ventilator management experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills essential
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH certification
• Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Preferred skills include IABP exposure, CRRT exposure, and Meditech charting experience
• Handle post-CABG patients, post-VAD patients, and post-catheterization patients with various cardiac support devices
• Document using Meditech system
• Navy scrub top and pants required with navy or white scrub jacket
