We're seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Sales professional in San Diego to win work and grow long-term client relationships.
Impact
- Drive new business for HVAC projects from $1M to $7M.
- Build trust with general contractors, building owners, and developers.
- Support accurate estimates and smooth handoffs to operations.
- Grow repeat business through strong project delivery and follow-up.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue bid / build and design-build project opportunities.Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers.Partner with estimators and PMs to prepare proposals and scopes.Lead presentations and negotiate project terms with clients.Track sales pipeline, close rates, and follow-up activities.Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.Stay current on market trends, competitors, and client needs.Requirements
Must-Haves
5+ years of commercial HVAC sales experience.Strong local network in the San Diego construction market.Track record of selling projects $1M-$7M.Comfortable with estimating tools, scopes, and takeoffs.Clear communicator with a proactive, relationship-first approach.Nice-to-Haves
Background in HVAC field work or project management.Experience with design-build or negotiated work.Familiarity with Bluebeam, CRM, or estimating platforms.OSHA 30 or construction safety experience.Compensation & Logistics
