HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Amarillo, Texas.

Title : Cath Lab Technologist

Location : Amarillo, TX

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 – 19 : 00)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, PTCA, PCI, and stent placements.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field; perform scrub and circulator duties as needed.
  • Set up and operate specialized cath lab equipment such as IABP and imaging systems.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias during procedures.
  • Ensure proper infection control and sterile techniques throughout all procedures.
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC (required).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for weeknights (7p–7a) and weekends (7a–7p).

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
  • Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR within the past 6 months (required).
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
  • Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and assist with emergent interventions.
  • Travel experience preferred.
