Technical Project Manager - BC / DR Focused

We're seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong focus on Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) to lead strategic planning, coordination, testing, and execution efforts for a critical enterprise initiative. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who can balance technical depth with cross-functional leadership, ensuring resilience and operational continuity across complex IT ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) strategy, planning, coordination, testing, and execution.
- Drive key initiatives in data governance, reporting automation, and data platform modernization.
- Partner with internal IT and Information Management teams-including the Network Operations Center (NOC), Security Operations Center (SOC), Infrastructure Operations, Service Desk, Business Applications, and Technology Strategy & Architecture (TSA)-to ensure alignment across all technical and business workstreams.
- Manage projects using both Waterfall and Agile / Scrum methodologies, adapting based on project scope and complexity.
- Translate complex technical concepts, risks, and outcomes into clear communication for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the TSA team and other IM stakeholders onsite at the Port of Long Beach three days per week.

The base range for this contract position is $75 - $85 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered
