As a Project Manager I, you are responsible for managing a project from design to release for customers, monitoring the project from initiation through delivery and program closeout. You will develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables; identify needed resources for projects; and interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. Manages simple projects typically defined as : studies, small task orders, Internal Research and Development, Level of Effort; services only, spares or projects with minimal deliverables. Typically, there is no responsibility of managing team members directly, but rather an introduction to people management. This role can, and often is, used as a Control Account Manager on a larger program.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle : proposal development, planning, scope, definition, design, execution, delivery, and program closeout. You will track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepare reports to stakeholders. The Project Manager will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent.
