Dolphin, Inc., is seeking a Project Manager that will be responsible for the development castings, related documentation, customer support, new and modified manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures for several product lines. This role will be the main point of contact for customers regarding assigned products or projects. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area.

YOU WILL :
- Be responsible for the development and documentation of assigned projects, new and / or modified manufacturing casting equipment, tools, and fixtures for several product lines.
- Support customers regarding project status, quotes, delivery, and quality requirements.
- Build project / part routers and bill of materials according to product requirements.
- Review product for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
- Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, resolving producibility issues and test problems.
- Evaluate and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawing releases.
- Evaluate dimensional and process issues. Provide instruction and documentation for tooling / mold repairs.
- Create and review work instructions and techniques.
- Examine estimates of material, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to insure completeness and accuracy. Control expenditures within limitations of project budget.
- Provide hands-on support to manufacturing, including troubleshooting, implementing manufacturability improvements, training on new products or processes, documentation compliance, and general process improvements.
- Keep management informed on progress and problems associated with projects in development or in production.
- Be responsible for understanding and following all pertinent company and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Be responsible for remaining current within area of expertise, not only relative to the market, but in relation to known published advances in the pertinent specific body of knowledge.
YOU HAVE :
Bachelor’s degree from a properly accredited college or university in an Engineering or Science discipline; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and team skills with the ability to gain consensus.Ability to manage, focus and lead small and medium cross-disciplinary business meetings.Demonstrated ability to work with many teams and design given a set of constraints.Proven expertise in CAD modeling and mechanical technical drawings.Understanding of metal fabrication processes : Sheet Metal, Machining, WeldingExperience with 3D printing technology.Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.High level of computer literacy in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, TEAMS, and PowerPoint), with a mastery of the design software available at Dolphin, Inc.DOLPHIN, Inc. is a nicotine free company.
