Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health by cultivating and maintaining ongoing customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.

Responsibilities include overseeing assigned medical products and distribution customers as it pertains to supply chain health and general service needs, bridging relationships between the customer's supply chain team and internal Cardinal Health teams to ensure flawless service, supporting customer expectations and requirements through proactive account reviews, and regular engagement and review of key initiatives. Preventing order disruption to the customer through activities such as elimination of potential inventory issues, substitution maintenance, core list review, and product standardization and conversions. Resolving open order issues by reviewing open order and exception reports, analyzing trends, and partnering with the customer to take alternative actions as needed. Advocating for the customer and partner across Cardinal Health servicing teams to bring rapid and effective resolution to the customer's issues, requests, and initiatives. Tracking, measuring, and reporting key performance indicators monthly. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance. Building and maintaining long-term trusted relationships with customers to support retention and growth of the account.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred. Two to four years of professional experience; direct customer-facing experience, preferred. Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), preferred. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, preferred. Highly motivated and able to work effectively within a team, preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to build solid relationships and deliver high-quality presentations, preferred. Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, as business needs require, is preferred.

What is expected of you and others at this level includes applying working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks. Working on projects of moderate scope and complexity. Identifying possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and taking actions to resolve. Applying judgment within defined parameters. Receiving general guidance, may receive more detailed instruction on new projects. Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy.

Anticipated salary range : $57,000.00 - $81,600.00. Bonus eligible : No.
