Our North Texas office continues to expand and we are seeking a driven Sr. Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Engineer to become an integral part of our team. About the Role

The Sr. Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Engineer is responsible for the implementation of control systems and DCS / PLC / SCADA programming. This includes a working knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Industrial Control Systems / IT - specializing in design, development, programming, integration, troubleshooting, commissioning, start-up and control system optimization. The Sr. Industrial Control Systems Engineer is expected to be a technical lead on projects providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers and support their professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Experience in more than one of the following areas is preferred, but not required :

• Program and configure PLC, HMI, DCS and SCADA systems.
• Design, configuration, integration, and implementation of automated equipment.
• Develop software / hardware design specifications.
• Design, write, test and document PLC / HMI software.
• Create Control Narratives, Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams, and Network Diagrams.
• Develop and execute control system validation / testing protocols.
• Troubleshoot, test, and start-up control systems onsite.
• Participate in site visits and meetings as required by project.
• Consult with clients to ensure project success.
• Interact with project managers / team leads, clients, and other third parties.
• Mentor other I&C Consultants / Engineers
