About The Position
Position Description
- Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our well-established practice of 30 years at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare , Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative, multi-specialty team delivering family-centered, high-quality neonatal care.
- Level-III NICU with 34 beds, average daily census of 25, and ~3,500 annual deliveries
- Only Level-III NICU in the region, providing care for high-risk mothers and critically ill or premature newborns
- Multi-specialty team including neonatologists, NNPs, pediatric intensivists, and hospitalists
- Access to pediatric subspecialties : cardiology, endocrinology, radiology, neurology, orthopedics, and more
- Excellent nursing and ancillary support including PICC team and full-time child life specialist
- Regional transports staffed by a neonatal nurse and respiratory therapist
- Flexible NNP schedule with a mix of 8-hour and 24-hour shifts
