For more than 40 years, ArtisTree Landscape & Design, a Sunrise Landscape company, is a commercial landscape maintenance, design and installation company serving Florida with a commitment to service excellence. We have an opportunity for a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our maintenance shrub team in our Venice, FL office. This role is positioned to have a big impact in our growing business both organically and through acquisitions. This role will provide the upfront installation of irrigation clients' needs. This team member will report to the Irrigation Manager of a branch and / or region.

The role will be based in Venice, FL in the local branch office. It is an entry level role. Job Summary : As a Landscaping Maintenance Crew Member, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of shrubs, including planting, pruning, weeding, and applying mulch, while also assisting with other landscaping tasks under the guidance of a supervisor.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of the job responsibilities :

• Planting : Plant new shrubs according to planting plans, ensuring proper spacing, depth, and soil preparation.
• Pruning : Trim and shape shrubs to maintain their health and appearance, removing dead or damaged branches.
• Weeding : Remove weeds from around shrubs, using hand tools or herbicides as directed.
• Mulching : Apply mulch around shrubs to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and improve soil health.
• Watering : Water shrubs as needed, ensuring they receive adequate moisture, especially during dry periods.
• Fertilizing : Apply fertilizer to shrubs to promote healthy growth, following recommended application rates and timing.
• Deadheading : Remove spent flower heads from shrubs to encourage continued blooming.
