• Cardiac catheterizations
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and related interventional procedures
• Cath Lab procedures for inpatients
• STEMI auto-accept program coverage JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses : Active Illinois license required (IMLC not accepted)
• Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• DEA : Active DEA Certification required
• Certifications : ACLS, CSR License
• Experience : Minimum 1 year
• Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide full Interventional Cardiology coverage on weekends
• Perform inpatient Cath Lab procedures as needed
• Cover hospital s STEMI auto-accept program for regional patients
• Consult with hospitalist and ICU teams for admitted patients
• Collaborate with other employed and PSA cardiologists
• Manage telephone call coverage with 30-minute response time
• Work independently as the solo physician on coverage
