A company is looking for a Staff Coding Compliance Auditor (medical billing and coding).

Key Responsibilities

Perform compliance audits to assess the adequacy of medical record documentation, billing, and coding

Identify training needs based on audit results and educate healthcare providers as necessary

Analyze evidentiary data to evaluate system effectiveness and recommend improvements

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required

At least one coding certification required (e.g., Certified Professional Coder, Certified Risk Adjustment Coder, Registered Health Information Technician)

Expert knowledge of State and Federal healthcare program regulations

Experience in auditing and compliance processes
