The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing daily quality control testing of finished goods and raw materials as well as performing in-process checks throughout the production process according to company standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable with following GMP practices, and can succeed with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should also have general laboratory experience in wet chemistry techniques. You will be comfortable with change, as the Company implementing 5S methodologies and working to achieve ISO 9001 certification. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

What You'll Do :
- Champion of Company Core Values.
- Ensure all batches are tested to meet company specifications.
- Ability to read, understand, and perform test methods according to SOPs.
- Responsible for reporting results in a timely manner
- Responsible for proper use of lab equipment
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of equipment and lab areas
- Responsible for calibration of lab equipment.
- Ensure all manufacturing and shipping processes meet BDC quality standards through in-process quality Inspections ensuring compliance; conduct audits of production processes to monitor quality.
- Perform quality testing of all received raw materials according to set quality specifications
- Ensure plant safety and quality standards are followed by all staff.
- Review and verify documentation and records including certificates of analysis and safety data sheets.
- Review, analyze, and prepare reports based on test results and observations as necessary and keep QC results organized.
- Maintain and update an organized inventory of retain samples and chemicals in the laboratory.
- Perform other QC functions as directed by the Director of Quality.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Position Requirements
BS in Science preferred.Intermediate level math skills; chemistry testing skillsAttention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).Well organized, with strong time management and prioritization skillsSelf-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.Willingness to go beyond expectations, learn new skills, and take on new challenges and responsibilities.Ideal Candidate
