Job descriptionPrevious experience in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical installation 6+ years Mechanical HVAC Estimating Ability to read and comprehend project drawings Ability to work on the computer, utilizing estimating programs, email, spreadsheets, etc. Must be able to self-check own work to ensure accuracy and completeness Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and schedule requirements. Adheres to all safety protocols, project rules, and company policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities :
- Attend meetings with sales team to quote mechanical, plumbing, and industrial projects.
- Be able to read and understand drawings for projects that need to be quoted
- Utilize proper tools and equipment for quoting and bid tracking
- Generate tentative schedules to determine job durations based on specs.
- Takeoff accurate quantities of ductwork, pipe, etc.
- Communicate effectively with customers, design professionals, sub-contractors, vendors, and co-workers.
