Illinois Licensed Staff Accountant

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant (Remote in the Midwest).

Key Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely classification of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions

Perform timely downloads and reconciliations of various bank, credit card, and loan accounts

Initial preparation and review of financial statements and cash forecasts, including sales tax returns and reconciliations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA certification preferred or on track to obtain

Minimum 3 years' experience in a staff accountant role

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel

Experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is required

Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a remote environment
