Job descriptionFacility : Our 49-bed facility offers comprehensive medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, a two-suite surgical department, radiology services, laboratory services, respiratory therapy, and 10 Swing Beds for transitional care. Patient Volume : With less than 20 patients per day, our facility provides an ideal environment for physicians who prefer a sleep-at-night type of practice. Most physicians work 12 to 24-hour shifts, ensuring a manageable workload and ample time for patient care. Practice Setting : Enjoy practicing in a supportive environment with a single physician coverage model and a dedicated administrative team of emergency medicine physicians. Community : Located in a vibrant community with over 6,000 residents, our facility is surrounded by a thriving business community, various parks and libraries, and a diverse economy. Enjoy the charm of small-town living while having access to big-city amenities within driving distance. Job Type : This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Physicians can choose between 12-hour or 24-hour shifts to accommodate their preferences and lifestyle. Board Certification : Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience required. State License : Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Alabama.
