Health and Wellness Coordinator

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Health and Wellness Coordinator is to provide leadership and supervision to all Group Exercise Instructors and Personal trainers creating a safe, positive, supportive environment for all participants. The Health and Wellness Coordinator will uphold the employee code of conduct and will ensure that all areas of the job responsibilities reflect the mission of the Old Colony Y, and the regulating agencies. The Health and Wellness Coordinator will display and encourage the character traits of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Programs including Word, Excel and Power Point, Social Media proficiency preferred
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Group Exercise Instructor
• Holds a minimum of 1 group exercise certification, Les Mills preferred
