The Chief Medical Officer is a visionary clinical leader who partners with the CEO and executive leadership to drive our strategic mission and set standards for excellence in sustainable, high-quality healthcare. This full-time role involves approximately 20% patient care and 80% administration and leadership.
Position Summary
The CMO will champion affordable, top-tier quality healthcare across the communities served, including underserved populations. The position will develop and implement strategies to meet identified short-term and long-term objectives, oversee all medical / health services, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Shape and execute the clinical strategy, balancing productivity, quality, and patient access.
- Oversee the Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement Committee.
- Supervise assigned clinical Directors and conduct credentialing / performance reviews.
- Partner across leadership to evolve and improve integration of care.
- Work with key leadership to identify and implement improved clinic operating processes.
- Provide visionary leadership for all clinical programs, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Deliver and coordinate competent, comprehensive, and compassionate care for patients.
- Maintain licensure and expertise through ongoing continuing medical education.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited medical school; preferred : M.D. or D.O.Minimum 10 years of progressive healthcare administration and leadership experience.Active, unrestricted Colorado Medical License with no pending or previous disciplinary action.Board Certified or Eligible in a primary care specialty.Current DEA license.Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience in community healthcare settings, including work with indigent populations and underserved populations.Familiarity with integrated care models, FQHC operations, and working with multilingual communities.Bi-lingual (Spanish, English).What We Offer
