Receptionist Position
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Harvey, Louisiana. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and organized office environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a friendly and organized first impression.
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Handle and distribute incoming mail and packages, as well as manage outgoing correspondence.
- Ensure the office is securely locked and properly closed at the end of the day.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to uphold company standards.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing office supplies.
- Respond to inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, both in-person and over the phone.
Requirements :
Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role is highly preferred.Proficiency in handling a multi-line phone system and managing inbound calls.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Basic proficiency with office equipment and software, such as email and scheduling tools.Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work part-time hours.Comfortable working in an office environment that requires attention to detail.
