Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Engineer - Role Summary

The Cloud Engineer will play a key role in translating cloud strategy into secure, scalable, and cost- efficient technical implementations. This individual will focus on designing and deploying cloud- native solutions, primarily in Microsoft Azure, while adhering to DevSecOps principles and site reliability engineering (SRE) best practices.

• Key Focus Areas :

oCloud Architecture & Engineering

oDesign and implement cloud-native applications aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework

oLead infrastructure automation using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and other IaC tools

oBuild and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments

• Site Reliability & Monitoring

oDevelop and execute strategies for high availability and reliability across digital platforms

oMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize environments for performance and cost

oImplement 24x7 monitoring and incident response processes

• DevOps & Automation

oAutomate provisioning and deployment pipelines ("pipeline engineering")

oSupport CI / CD practices and embed with development teams to guide cloud adoption

oChampion practices like Trunk-Based Development, TDD / ATDD, and policy-as-code

• Collaboration & Leadership

oAct as a cloud SME, guiding teams on standards, governance, and best practices

oPartner with architecture, platform, and automation teams to align on delivery and enablement

oLead proof-of-concepts and evaluate emerging technologies for future adoption

• Governance & Compliance

oDrive cloud governance through compliance automation and policy-as-code

oEnsure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational standards

• Skills

Cloud, Azure, Devops, Automation, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, Architecture

• Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience :

o7-10 years in an IT environment

o5-7 years of cloud development and support (Azure, AWS, GCP)

o2-3 years in the consumer banking industry (preferred)

• Technical Skills :

oKubernetes expertise

oRequired : AKS, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, Azure Function App Service,

• Experience Level

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00 / hr.
