Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design, code, test, debug, and document data pipelines.
- Take multiple data schemas to define a common data architecture to support multiple use cases.
- Work with multiple programming languages and possess deep knowledge of SQL database design and NoSQL concepts.
- Integrate complex models using advanced software library frameworks to distribute large, clustered data sets.
- Collect and arrange data in a form useful for analytics; be familiar with both streaming and batch data movement; apply trade-offs to solve business and operational problems.
- Develop, maintain, and test infrastructures for data generation to transform data from various structured and unstructured sources.
- Develop complex queries to optimize performance of NoSQL and / or big data infrastructure.
- Create, document, and maintain data pipeline architecture, APIs, and data dictionaries; maintain metadata for data efforts.
- Build and maintain infrastructure to support data movement (ETL / ELT / ELTL) from diverse sources.
- Extract data from multiple data sources, relational SQL and NoSQL databases, and other platform APIs for ingestion and integration.
- Configure and manage data analytic frameworks and pipelines using tools such as NoSQL, SQL, NiFi, Kafka, HDInsight, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, GraphDB, OrientDB, Spark, Flink, Hadoop, Hive, and related technologies.
- Apply distributed systems concepts (consistency, availability, liveness, safety, durability, reliability, fault-tolerance, consensus).
- Administrate cloud computing and CI / CD pipelines on Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (product, data, design) to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Qualifications
Must hold and maintain an active Secret clearance.Must have a current Security+ certification (or obtain within 6 months of start date).Must meet IAT II requirements.Must have high-level written and verbal communication skills.Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.Benefits
