Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant is responsible for performing all functions of the bank's Accounts Payable (AP) area.

Essential Job Functions :

• Review and input of vendor invoices
• Weekly ACH and check processing
• Scanning of invoices and posting sheets
• Form W-9 maintenance and year-end issuance of 1099 forms to the IRS and vendors
• Reconciles simple ledgers, posts information, processes payments and compiles segments of
• monthly closings, reports, etc.
• Communicates with other departments and / or outside agencies to resolve problems.
• The Junior Accountant will be called upon to perform department backup functions, assist other departments and follow Bank policies and procedures.
• Positive contribution in a team environment.

Education & Experience :

HS diploma or AS degree in accounting. 1-year related experience.

Salary Ranges :

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Work Schedule :

Part-time, Monday through Thursday from 8 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM, Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break each day)
