Overview
The Audio-Visual Project Manager (AV PM) is responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget, and to Superior and clients expectations. The Associate AV PM is responsible for regular status reports, risk mitigation reports, outgoing purchase orders, field labor, deliverables, and vendor management. The AV PM will ensure projects are delivered within budgets by managing expenses and executing change orders when scopes change. This role will require travel.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and manage projects within budgets and to meet or exceed Superior and client expectations
- Determine project schedules and adapt project schedules to client schedules
- Identify, negotiate, and manage contractors and vendor partners
- Purchase materials and provide purchasing instructions to coordinators
- Provide regular status reports including : material purchases, labor utilization, % complete, and 3-week forecast
- Develop reports as needed
- Estimate, negotiate, and implement change orders with customers\' approvals
- Estimate smaller projects using estimating tools provided by SCS
- Track and verify all deliverables are of quality standards and delivered in a professional and timely manner
- Adhere to all laws, company policies, and OSHA standards
- Increase job knowledge as industry changes by attending industry training and reading professional publications
- Represent the company in a professional manner at meetings, site visits, and events
- National travel up to 100% of the time

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year experience in project management for small to medium size jobs ($5K – $100K)Minimum 1 year experience in the AV industryKnowledge of building codesAbility to read building drawings and line drawingsUnderstanding of AV signal flowRecommended Certifications : Project Management Certifications, OSHA 10, Crestron Certifications, DSP Certifications (QSYS, Biamp, Harman, Shure)Physical Requirements
