Orthopedics - Adult Reconstructive Physician

Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans (OANO) , a well-established and highly respected orthopedic group, is seeking a BE / BC, Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Joint Surgeon to join our growing practice in New Orleans, Louisiana. This opportunity offers a strong referral base with an immediate need for joint revisions in the greater New Orleans area , excellent clinical support , and a clear pathway to partnership with general orthopaedic call required .

Join as an associate physician with a guaranteed base salary for two years, a productivity bonus model, and additional call pay from two hospitals.

Practice and Position Highlights

• Collaborative Team : Join a multidisciplinary team of 7 orthopedic surgeons and 3 physician assistants across subspecialties.
• Clinical Locations : Two modern and fully equipped clinics in New Orleans and Metairie .
• Surgical Focus : This position is ideal for a surgeon focused on hip and knee replacement , including complex and joint revision cases (immediate need in greater New Orleans).
• Call Responsibilities : General orthopaedic call is required and additionally compensated, on a 1 : 5 schedule .
• Call volume is manageable with low-energy cases such as hip fractures, ankle fractures, and distal radius fractures.
• Physician assistants assist with initial ED consults and post-call support.
• Hospital Affiliations : Touro Hospital and Ochsner Baptist
