A company is looking for a Diabetes Consultant, Cardiovascular Health to support global efforts in diabetes and hypertension management at the primary health care level.
Key Responsibilities
Develop training modules and content for healthcare workers on diabetes management and treatment protocols
Provide technical assistance for the integration of diabetes protocols in focus countries
Contribute to the creation of guidance documents and recommendations for improving diabetes care delivery
Required Qualifications and Education
An advanced degree in medicine or advanced practice nursing, with a focus on primary health care delivery; a public health degree is desirable
Five years of experience in primary care settings delivering care for diabetes and hypertension, preferably in low and middle-income countries
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare delivery addressing noncommunicable diseases
Track record of completed products and technical assistance in the field of non-communicable diseases
