The Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology (AVIM&O) in Hunt Valley, MD is hiring a full- time Lead Registered Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding Oncology and Internal Medicine team!

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Ensure technicians are fulfilling their assigned roles and maintaining excellent inter / intradepartmental and client communication.
  • Delegate daily technician responsibilities and roles to optimize department efficiency and workflow; ensure fair distribution of tasks and lunch coverage.
  • Monitor department flow and processes to support optimal patient and client care; engage with doctors for real-time feedback.
  • Maintain and update SOPs at least semiannually; assist in creating and implementing new protocols and policies in collaboration with supervisors / managers.
  • Oversee technician training and development, including onboarding, ongoing education, and leveling based on skill sets.
  • Contribute to 90-day and annual performance reviews for Internal Medicine technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with all department policies and procedures.
  • Communicate departmental staffing needs to the Supervisor and coordinate interdepartmental support when needed.
  • Support equipment maintenance and repair efforts.
  • Be capable of performing all technician duties within the department.

    • Schedule :

  • 4 / 10-hour or 5 / 8-hour shifts per week On- Call rotation Benefits : Full health care packages (medical, dental, vision), CE compensation, 401(k) retirement options, significant personal pet discounts, uniform allowance, and exciting career path / developmental training.
  • Compensation is based on experience & skill set.

    • Credentialed Veterinary Technicians are strongly encouraged to apply (but not required). $35 - 38 / hr Education & Experience High school or equivalent (required).

  • Veterinary Experience 2- 3 years in a specialty setting is required Credentialed Veterinary Technician is preferred but not required  Ethos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
