As a Commercial Tire Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of tire and related service and repair for the Retail / Commercial Tires, Medium Truck. This position must be able to drive a service vehicle to where a customer is having a problem and be able to repair or replace their tire(s) as needed. Job duties may be performed at the store location, at customer locations, and on roadside service calls. This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected. Excellent safety and attendance performance is expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Mounting and dismounting tires on retail vehicles, medium trucks, and trailers. Including training and use of additional safety equipment for enhanced danger.
• Balancing tires to ensure proper weight distribution. Understanding additional balance mechanisms such as, balance beads and balance rings.
• Identifying and repairing punctures or other damage to tires and / or tubes.
• Patching or plugging tires as necessary.
• Evaluating retail vehicle, medium truck, and trailer, lifting using proper equipment in accordance to safety protocols.
• Rotating tires at regular intervals to promote even tread wear, including medium truck and trailer patterns.
