CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details : \n

  • Work night shifts from 5 : 00 PM to 5 : 30 AM, Tuesday through Thursday

    • \n

  • Must be able to work independently as the only staff member in the department between 11 : 00 PM and 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • Cross-train and assist with general X-ray procedures in addition to CT duties

    • \n

  • Perform CT scans with and without contrast including head, spine, abdomen, pelvis, CTA PE, runoff, and extremities

    • \n

  • Conduct general X-ray procedures including chest, PICC line placement, tube placement, and trauma fracture extremities

    • \n

  • Average 2-6 CT scans per night and 1-4 X-rays per night depending on workload

    • \n

  • Must be able to start IVs when ED lines are inadequate with no RN support in department

    • \n

  • Required to work holidays that fall on scheduled shifts

    • \n

  • No call or standby requirements

    • \n

  • Must provide radiation badge (facility can assist if absolutely needed)

    • \n

  • Washington state license required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS (AHA), ARRT, CT certification

    • \n

  • Work with Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner, Carestream X-ray room, and brand new GE Portable X-ray equipment

    • \n

  • Use EPIC EMR system and McKesson PACS

    • \n

  • EPIC training required in Tacoma with one week on-site orientation

    • \n

  • Wear scrubs of your choosing

    This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive radiology department equipped with modern imaging technology including CT and X-ray capabilities. The facility maintains advanced equipment and provides both inpatient and outpatient imaging services in an acute care setting. The organization uses current technology systems and provides thorough training programs to ensure quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
