Staff Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to lead their Data Engineering practice and modernize their data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Own and evolve the data platform, tooling, and architecture to meet analytical and product needs

Lead the delivery of a v2 data architecture via a data lakehouse

Build stream and batch data ingestion pipelines to process source data

Required Qualifications

8+ years as a Data Engineer working on the modern data stack

2+ years operating as a Staff or Lead engineer

5+ years of experience writing production-grade code, preferably in Go

Familiarity with modern datalakes and open table formats such as Iceberg, Hudi, or Delta Lake

Strong cloud architecture skills in the AWS ecosystem
